With beginnings in Social Work and Injury Management and subsequent completion of a Master’s degree in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, Kate is an HR practitioner with a passion for diversity and people. Kate has over twelve years HR Generalist experience as a Business Partner to Senior Business Managers and Leadership teams.

The bulk of Kate’s work experience is through various roles and functions at Stockland Property Development. She has consulted to businesses within a range of industries including Travel, Financial Services, Property, Not for Profit and Technology. She is able to offer diverse Human Resource capabilities and is comfortable working within larger existing HR teams or independently to help establish HR functions for SME’s.

With a genuine interest in the operation of the business and building its relationships, Kate’s strengths lie in finding practical solutions that work for both employers and employees. Not shy of providing direct and constructive feedback, she has resolved many issues of conflict and performance management. Kate’s easy going, honest and practical nature allows her to develop relationships and influence across all levels.

Outside of work Kate loves getting out and about with her family which includes two little people and one small horse sized dog. She’s passionate about all things to do with the beach, food, wine, travel and music.
